Please note that the sizes in the chart are only applicable to healed piercings. Also, the sizes are guidelines, as everyone's anatomy is different. If you aren't sure about the size you need, please seek advice from your local piercer.
First some definitions:
Thickness: The gauge size of your piercing refers to the thickness of the earring post that goes through your ear.
20g = 0.8 mm
18g = 1.0 mm
16g = 1.2 mm
Labret length: The labret length refers to the wearable length of the earring post that goes through your piercing. For studs, it’s the length of the labret. For hoops, this refers to the inner diameter of the ring.
